University of visual and performing art 👩‍🎓🧡

The University of Visual and Performing Arts can be called the home of the fine arts in Sri Lanka.

I have a very proud reason. That is, I also got accepted to this university for higher education. So, there are ways to build a life you love through further education.

I am studying in the first year of the Faculty of Dance and Drama. I study several dance traditions from the Upcountry, Lowcountry, Sabaragamuwa and abroad. Various types of dance performances are held at my university. They are held in a very grand manner. This can be identified as one of the important universities in Sri Lanka. Since only aesthetic subjects are included here, it is called the Mahagedara of Arts.




Since a talented faculty works here, a generation of talented students is being prepared to graduate from the university. A group of talented graduates, both in the practical and written aspects, is being produced for the country.
I am humbled to have qualified to study for a degree in Visual and Performing Arts at the University of Sri Lanka. This has been my dream since I was a child.
